Obama: Rich, white and uppity

By now you may have heard Karl Rove’s “Obama is the guy at the country club ...” pronouncement. But what you may not have heard are Rove’s other, equally disparaging comments about Obama that make sense only to people from certain million-dollar socio-economic backgrounds. For instance:

“Obama is the guy who likes to arrive late for an 8 a.m. Tee-time by helicopter.”

“Obama is the Princeton coxswain who thinks yelling ‘stroke’ louder is what’s going to beat Yale.”

“Obama is the guy who serves Sevruga at his daughter’s wedding and tells you its Beluga.”

“Obama is the guy who intimates that a famous member of a famous family once owned his house in the Hamptons -- but never which family or for how long -- and then gets mad when you ask him if its a Rockefeller and, if so, which generation of Rockefeller because my dad went to school with Winthrop and said he was a nice guy but kind of cheap.”
